Hindu radicals burning churches & assaulting pastors in Nepal
A radical Hindu priest set fire to a church in Dharan, arguing that the church was too close to the Hindu temple across the road from it. Dharan, which has a high population of Christians, has become a center of controversy over religion.
Christian Pastor Reuben Rye asked for prayer about the current situation in Nepal.
RYE: “I would like to request you to pray for the brothers and sisters in Nepal who are under the threat of persecution from the Hindu extremists in Nepal. They have been destroying the church, threatening Christians. So, we want to request your prayer for protection, for encouragement, and patience for all the Christians in Nepal. Please pray for us.”

Pakistani pastor survives assassination attempt
Pastor Vicky was shot in the shoulder while riding on his motorcycle, and is currently under treatment at a local hospital. The attack comes after death threats and vandalism of his church building.
Jesus told us in John 15:18-19 that “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet, because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”
God sustained a second Pakistani pastor whose homes were burned
In other Pakistan-related news, on today’s edition of Generations Radio, I interview Augustine Joseph, a 64-year old native Pakistani Christian man who is a missionary to his own people. I met him recently in person in San Antonio, Texas at my church before he travels back to Pakistan.
Muslims burned down three different homes of his in 2007, 2013, and 2020. Plus, ten years ago, they kidnapped Augustine’s eldest son and tortured him for two weeks, throwing him in the street at 12 midnight, gagged with duct tape, his arms bound behind him. Providentially, after a long hospitalization, he survived.
Take a listen to Augustine’s testimony, how’s he planted 33 churches, and founded an orphanage five years ago ministering to 87 children.
You can send a donation made out to: Rio Grande Valley Prayer Center, their sister organization here in America, 3106 Harmony Lane, Mission, TX 78574. Write: “Pakistan Mission” in the memo. The money will be wired to the Pakistani outreach to a nearby bank.

If CA parents don’t affirm transgenderism, they could be denied custody
The California state assembly and senate have passed a bill that would potentially remove all parental visitation and child custody if the parent does not affirm the child’s “gender identity” or “gender expression,” reports the Associated Press.
According to the California legislation, parents who refuse to affirm transgenderism are endangering the “health, safety, and welfare of the child.”
Habakkuk 1:4 laments this. “Therefore, the law is powerless, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; Therefore, perverse judgment proceeds.”

Despite President Joe Biden’s attempt to allow 44 million people walk away from their financial obligation to pay back their college loans, this month they have to assume responsibility and start making payments along with interest, reports National Public Radio.
That will set these folks back between $200 and $300 a month. College enrollment has declined 15%, while business apprenticeships have increased more than 50% over the last decade, reports the Wall Street Journal.
