What are “M.A.R.S. Express Talks”?
Each session of Express Talks will contain four 18-minute long presentations that are designed to be powerful and to the point. What the listener can expect from a MARS Express Talk is to be challenged and provided with key information that will help them to take dominion for the Kingdom of Christ. We have a wide spread of speakers covering 20 different topics that will leave our attendees more knowledgable and equipped to better their families, businesses and communities.
Is there a special rate if I want to attend Saturday only?
Because most of the conference is happening on Saturday (meals and sessions), the Saturday cost to attend is the full amount. We are blessed to have many underwriters for this conference and attendees are only paying 50% of the actual cost.
Which airport should I fly into?
Airport information can be found here.
Can we bring our own food into the hotel?
Yes and no. The Wyndham Hotel will permit those who are staying overnight in the hotel to have food in their rooms.
You are on your own for meals on Friday evening, Saturday morning, and Sunday morning. We encourage you to invite others in attendance to join you at a hotel or local restaurant (there are many available with varying prices so you can choose). We’ll provide three meals which are a part of your registration cost. A large part of what we want to do is allow people time to talk and fellowship with regard to the topics that are introduced during MARS Express Talks. Meals are perfect for this.
I noticed that the children’s program stops at age 12. What is the plan for teenagers?
The 2020 Future of Christendom Conference called “Christ, Not Man, Is King” is welcoming all those over 12 to join the adults in the main sessions and gain knowledge and understanding of the significance that Christ is reigning in time and history and how that fact should affect our thinking and actions.
What about parking at the hotel?
The Wyndham Resort and Conference Center has a large parking lot available to all conference attendees. There is no cost for parking.
I can’t afford the registration, but I’d like to come to the conference. Are there any scholarships?
We are blessed to have many benefactors that underwrite a large portion of the expenses for this conference. Because of the help of our benefactors, attendees are only paying 50% of the actual costs when registering. However, we understand that even with the discounted price it may not be feasible. If this is the case for you, please reach out to us through our contact form.
I registered for the conference, but I am unable to attend now. Can I receive a refund?
Please contact us through our contact form.
May I record a speaker on my phone during the sessions?
You may but there will be professional recordings made of each speaker and made available (for free) through our website after the conference.
Are there benefits to purchasing the resources offered by the vendors during the conference?
At the very least the advantage is no shipping costs! Though there is no requirement for vendors to offer their books or goods at lower prices, many of them do for conference attendees. Your purchases also encourage our vendors that their work is being used of the Lord and to continue to come to the Future of Christendom Conference.
I have an idea/concern, or I see something that can be improved. Who can I share that with?
We would love to hear your ideas (we are not professional event planners!). At the end of the weekend there will be an opportunity for you to complete an evaluation that will allow room for suggestions.
I see pictures and videos being taken at the conference. Where will those be posted and when?
We want our attendees to remember the people they met and the speakers’ wisdom they heard so they have it for future reference. They will be posted on the website. We also want our future attendees and vendors to get an idea of what our conference is all about so they will want to join us.
